Avatar gave me a stomachache because the story was so racist. LOL if only it were that simple to say something like that. Actually, the audience’s ignorance and acceptance of “racist themes” in Avatar gave me a stomachache. I felt so much inner turmoil while watching it! Sitting there watching a group of people being annihilated while the rest of the audience was in awe of the movie’s aesthetic majesty and its triumphant story. But, I’m just reading into it too much. After all, it’s just a story right?? If only it were…
